Russian Airliner With 224 Persons On Board Crashes in Sinai; All Feared Dead

A Russian passenger jet traveling from the Red Sea resort town of Sharm el-Sheikh, Egypt to St. Petersburg, Russia has crashed in the mountainous northeast region of the Sinai Peninsula.  Rescue teams have reported finding the wreckage in the Hassana area, south of Arish.  The Airbus A-321 aircraft was on a flight operated by Kogalymavia - better known as Metro Jet - as Flight 9268 carrying 217 passengers and seven crewmembers.  Seventeen of the passengers were reported to be children.
